Well into its seventh year of the regulatory approval process for the Midwest Project Environmental Assessment (EA), AREVA remains confident it will receive approval from Federal and Provincial authorities in fall 2012. Copies of the Environmental Impact Statement and Technical review have been produced and distributed on behalf of the Province of Saskatchewan for public review. All public comments must be submitted to the Province by June 4, 2012. Moreover, the Canadian Environmental Assessment Agency (CEAA) is also inviting public comments on the Comprehensive Study Report for the environmental assessment of the Mining and Milling Midwest Project. Public comments must be received by CEAA by June 27, 2012 to be considered. This is the final public comment period of the environmental assessment of the project.
